GREG ION - Administrative Director of Club Development
Greg brings a wealth of soccer knowledge to Washington Premier F.C. He has worked in the youth soccer community for the past 14 years. He has successfully built college bound workshops and programs for elite athletes around the region. Greg is a former professional player of 13 years and represented Canada as a member of the Canadian World Cup Team from 1983-1988. Greg was also inducted into the British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame. He is a USSF A licensed coach.
REECE OLNEY - Administrative Director of Club Development
Reece is one of the best soccer coaches our region has to offer. He has been the head coach of the University of Puget Sound Men’s Soccer Program since 1994, and has compiled an overall record of 146-71-22. Coach Olney was named Northwest Conference Coach of the Year in both 1999 and 2002. He has coached 10 All-America athletes, 28 All-Region athletes and 33 All-Conference athletes, 6 Academic All-American and 13 All-Region Scholars since joining the University. Coach Olney has a USSF A license. He is a member of the Boys Region IV Regional Staff, serves as head boy’s coach for the WSYSA ODP program.
SCOTT HALASZ - Junior Girls Director
Scott has been involved in youth development for the past 10 years. He has a strong commitment to developing our youth. Scott has been involved with the Washington Premier FC program for the past 4 years. He was a trainer for Coerver Coaching Northwest for 4 years. He has also coached the junior varsity, both boys and girls, at John F. Kennedy High School. He currently holds his National B License and is on the coaching staff for Washington State ODP.
