Washington Premier FC is proud to introduce the Washington Premier European Academy Camp, an exclusive international development experience delivered in collaboration with Feyenoord Academy, one of the most respected youth development programs in world football.
For one week, WPFC players will have the unique opportunity to train under official Feyenoord Academy coaches and experience the methodology, learning environments, and developmental principles that have helped produce professional and international players throughout Europe.
This camp is designed to immerse players in a professional academy environment where learning, decision making, technical excellence, and game understanding take center stage.
Feyenoord’s youth academy is internationally recognized for developing intelligent, technically proficient, and tactically aware footballers capable of succeeding at the highest levels of the game.
At the heart of the Feyenoord methodology is a commitment to developing players who can solve problems, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to the constantly changing demands of the game.

A key architect behind this developmental framework is Zurab Amirian, Feyenoord’s Head of Coaching & Academy Methodology.
Through his leadership, Feyenoord has become internationally recognized for its player-centered, game-based approach to learning. His influence extends beyond the Netherlands and has helped shape coaching education and player development principles utilized throughout elite youth soccer environments worldwide, including developmental concepts found within ECNL and ECNL RL environments in the United States.
While Zurab Amirian will not be in attendance at the camp, the curriculum, learning objectives, coaching standards, and developmental framework delivered throughout the week are built upon the methodology he oversees across the Feyenoord Academy system.
For players competing within ECNL, ECNL RL, and aspiring elite pathways, this camp provides direct exposure to one of the world’s most respected development philosophies.
Terence Arnaud is a Feyenoord Academy coach with extensive experience developing players within one of Europe’s most respected youth systems.
His coaching focuses on creating challenging, game-realistic learning environments that accelerate technical development, tactical understanding, and decision making under pressure. Through Feyenoord’s player-centered approach, Terence helps players develop the tools necessary to succeed in highly competitive environments while maintaining a strong focus on long-term development.
Sherida van Bruggen brings extensive experience from both Feyenoord and the Dutch Football Federation (KNVB).
Prior to joining Feyenoord, she served as Head Coach of the Netherlands Women’s U16 National Team and Assistant Coach of the Netherlands Women’s U19 National Team. She also spent nearly a decade working within the KNVB’s nationally recognized youth development programs, helping identify and develop top young talent throughout the Netherlands.
Her expertise in player development, talent identification, and coach education makes her one of the most respected youth development leaders in Dutch football.
Rafi Delfgaauw is a Feyenoord Academy coach whose work centers around developing intelligent, confident, and technically capable players through game-based learning.
His sessions challenge players to improve awareness, creativity, decision making, and execution in realistic soccer environments that mirror the demands of competitive matches.
