Favorite Soccer Team/Club/Player:

Barcelona/Gerard Pique

Best coaching memory:“Coming back from being down 2-0 in the state finals with my ’99 boys’ team. The game-winning goal was scored in the last few seconds and then the parents and fans stormed the field. It was so cool because we started the year with only 7 kids. We only had 11 on the roster at the end of summer. Every single one of them played a ton, got better, and pulled together to create one of the coolest sports ‘moments’ I’ve ever witnessed.”

Player Expectations/Advice:
If you want to get really good at soccer, think of yourself as a craftsmen. Work really hard every day to hone in your craft. Most people aren’t willing to do this. Getting better isn’t a mystery. You just have to work at it harder than everyone else.”

Favorite Motivational Quote:
"True champions are made when no one is looking.”
