2011 USL: Captain and starter Nik Besagno, enters his second season with the Kitsap Pumas. Besagno is one of the Pumas most experienced players, being the overall number one draft pick in the MLS when he was only 16. He was drafted by one of the MLS’ top teams, Real Salt Lake, and was named a generation Adidas player. Besagno also played for the Tacoma Tide in 2009. Besagno helped the Pumas reach the regional semi-final in 2010 and the second round of the US Open Cup.
