Enter into a strategic alliance

February 2, 2012 – Washington Premier Football Club (WPFC) and Franklin Pierce Soccer Club (FPSC) are pleased to announce the clubs have entered into a strategic alliance. The guiding principle behind this agreement is the shared belief that there is a better way to develop kids as soccer players at every level. WPFC players, parents, and fans we need your help! A club as large and successful as ours makes it difficult sometimes to keep track of all the things happening with each and every team. We do our best but with your help we can do even better.  Please feel free to submit pictures and write-ups of happenings whether on or off the pitch to our Webmaster.

Alumni Sean Okoli & Jalen Markey
Selected to the US MNT U-20 & U-18 pools in Ft. Lauderdale, FL

The Sounders FC has gotten in the habit of adding players for their Academy to the list of contributors to the US National Teams youth pools. On Monday, two WPFC Alumni were added to the list as Jalen Markey and  Sean Okoli received their calls to play with the U-18 National Team and U-20 National Team respectively in their January training camp that runs from January 2-9 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

2011 GNAC Soccer Academic All-Conference Team
Eight WPFC Alumni Awarded

Eight WPFC Alumni student-athletes were named to the 2011 Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Star team that was released today. Brandon Scott, a repeater from 2010, led the men with a g.p.a. of 3.77 in Business, while Kelly Cates, also a repeater from 2010 led the woman with a g.pa. of 3.52 in Marine Biology.

Commitment to Excellence

For the first time in Club history, Washington Premier created a united team across 4 age groups to compete in the Puget Sound Premier League (PSPL) Fall U-19 competition.  The team was comprised of players from the ’93 to ’96 age groups who either opted out of playing for their high school or were not yet eligible for their high school team, as they attend a 3-year high school.  The team trained twice a week throughout the fall, as a single group, creating a terrific Club atmosphere.

WPFC Umbrellas, Beanies, and License Plate Frames @ The Red Card

The club is selling Beanies through The Red Card Cafe for a reasonable $20 each. All sales go directly to the club.

Also our Girls ’97 ECNL are selling umbrellas with the full color club logo for $25 each. While our boys ’99 State Champs are selling license plate frames with club logo and "Live, Breathe, Play" motto across bottom and are available for $10 each at The Red Card. Show your a fan a pick one up while supplies last!! Thanks for your support!

WPFC Alumna Brandi Hamre, who netted a goal in both Seattle Pacific home victories, received the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week women’s soccer award on Monday.
