(June 28, 2009) - WPFC GU-14 Black had yet to give up a goal in the first three rounds of the tournament blanking: FC Missula Strikers, ECFC White, and Dos FC White. The girls continued assault in the semis vs Snohomish Black winning in dramatic fashion 4-1.... last 3 goals scored while playing a player down!!!  In the finals they returned to their shut out ways by blanking Northwest Nationals Red by a score of  2-0 finishing the tournament with a combined total of GF 18 and GA 1.

WPFC GU-18 White also advanced to the semifinals of the Sounders FC Adidas Cup. But it wasn’t to be their day losing to eventual tournament champion Velosity.. The girls opened the tournament in a 1-1 draw against Lake Hills United, loss 3-1 in the second round to FC Marauders Navy, and advanced to the semis by shutting out WA Rush Nike 6-0 in the third.
