WPFC Uniform Number Policy

Age groups with multiple teams that play 6 v 6 will use the following numbering system:

1st team: 2-11, 2nd team: 12-21, 3rd team: 22-31
Each team is provided with one unnumbered goalie jersey

Age groups with multiple teams that play 9 v 9 will use the following numbering system:

Numbers that are available are 1-19
Each team is provided with one goalie jersey numbers can be 0, 00, 1, 18

Age groups with multiple teams that play 11 v 11 would use the following numbering system:

U12 through U16 that can have 18 players rostered, the numbers that are available are 1 through 19 with the GK’s being either number 0, 00, 1, or 18.
U17 through U19 that can have 22 players rostered, the numbers that are available are 1 through 22 with the GK’s being either number 0, 00, 1, or 18.
ECNL U14 through U18 that can have 26 players rostered, the numbers that are available are 1 through 26 with the GK’s being either number 0, 00, 1, or 18.

Uniform number retention is based upon longevity with the club. However, an exception may be made when a player changes age groups within the club. In such a case, number retention may not be automatic and could be determined on case-by-case basis by the Technical Director. In the event of a conflict in the application of this policy, the Technical Director has final authority on player number selection.
