GU-14 White Players Raise Money for a Cure

(September 13, 2009) - Madison Adams and Lauren Crimi, both GU-14 White players, held a golf tournament to raise money for Athena.  Both players were inspired to continue raising money for a Cure after participating in the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research tour in August.  On the tour the girls spoke with Athena founder, Trish May, and coordinated the event.  Their excitement was contageous and through their efforts they were able to secure enough raffle prizes so every participant was able to go home with a prize and the tournament successfully raised over $800.  Their plan is to make this an annual event and build on this years success to make it even larger next year.  Nice Job Ladies!
