(September 7, 2010) - WPFC ’94 Black won the GU16/17 Division of the Starfire Labor Day Cup Championship by defeating Puget Sound Slammers 1-0 in kicks from the mark. While WPFC ’97 Black acquitted themselves quite well this weekend with a strong showing at the Starfire Labor Day Cup as Finalists. Our ladies beat Idaho Super Club FC Nova in the semi-finals 1-0. In the final game WPFC, while shutting down current U13 state champions NW Nationals, finished regulation with a 0-0 score. Unfortunately for us fans, the Soccer Gods were not beside our ladies in the penalty kick portion of the match. Our girls finished the tournament with 12 GF & 0 GA in the run of play.
