On Sunday, May 13, 2007 in the early hours of Mother’s Day (6:30 am) parents and players of the WPFC U11 White and Black girls teams volunteeredand Black girls teams volunteered at the First Annual Tacoma City Marathon. The players and parents teamed up at the 2 mile water station and supplied runners of the Marathon, 1/2 Marathon and 10K Race with liquids!

It was a great opportunity for the kids and each of the kids received a Marathon Jacket for their participation in the event. We hope to be a part of it again next year! The U11 White Team is coached by Lisa Murray, and the U11 Black Team is coached by Chance Darling.
