20 plus years coaching professional, college, WSYSA, ODP, and club soccer at FC United, Crossfire, WSYSA, Region IV, University of Puget Sound, Univ., of Washington (Men), and Seattle Wolves FC.
Seth is one of the most successful coaches in Washington Youth Soccer history, he has guided teams to three National Championships: United’s Boys’ U-18 team to an undefeated season (USYSA Championship) in 1999, WPFC ’96 ECNL (ECNL National Championship - Flight B) in 2012, and WPFC ’96 ECNL (US Club National X Championship) also in 2012.
Seth served as the Boys Assistant Coaching Director at Crossfire. Seth was also an assistant coach for the University of Washington men’s program, serving on the staff for nine years. During his tenure, the Huskies reached the NCAA Tournament four times, including a school-record Sweet 16 appearance in 2003. Prior to that, Spidahl was an assistant coach at the University of Puget Sound for the 1999 and 2000 seasons and helped guide the Loggers to an overall record of 32-7-3.
Seth also spent one season as an assistant and two as head men’s soccer coach at Tacoma Community College. His TCC teams had an overall record of 26-10-7, won two division championships and finished as runners-up in the 1998 state tournament. Spidahl is now the head coach of the Pacific Luthern University woman’s soccer program.
