The team started the spring and summer tournament season with a strong showing at the 2008 Starfire Spring Classic. The boys were undefeated in the preliminary round with shutout wins over Westsound '97 Carver (8-0), Crossfire '97 Barton (7-0) and NW Nationals Blue (9-0). In the semifinals, WPFC outlasted GRFC 97 Blue 3-2 in kicks from the mark, before bowing to Crossfire James 4-2 in the final. The next tournament for the team will be the 2008 Rainier Challenge played at the WPFC Complex over Memorial Day  weekend.
