WPFC ‘96 White started the spring preseason with a strong showing in its practice game against Emerald FC. The squad controlled the time of possession and took a two goal lead into the half. The squad’s defensive effort lead by -- Tanner, Grant, Gavin, Adrian and newcomers  Marc, and  Alex -- only allowed Emerald FC a total of four shots on goal the entire game. Team scoring was led by Evan, who scored twice in the first half and Adrian who found the back of the net in the second. The play of the game took place in the first half when Luke with his back to the goal let the ball roll between his legs and spun to complete a reverse touch pass to set up Evan’s second goal of the match.

The next game will be a practice game vs. HPFC and then the Spring/ Summer tournament season begins with the 2008 Rainier Challenge played at the WPFC Complex over Memorial Day weekend.  controlled the time of possession the entire game only allowing four serious scoring opportunities the entire game for Emerald FC.
