2011-12 was another successful year for WPFC, as ’96 ECNL brought home two national titles: US Club National X Cup in Boise, ID and ECNL National Championship in Waukegan, IL. The club also earned five state championships titles: G’01 Black, G’98 Black, B’98 Black, B’96 Black, and B’93 Black earned trips to the Far West Regionals in Phoenix, AZ in the process. The B’97 Black boys also made trip to as a wild card entry, giving WPFC a total of five teams representing Washington state in the competition. B’96 Black finished as a Far West Regional finalist, while both the ’98s were semi-finalists, and B’97 was a quarter-finalist.
US Club Regional titles were won by both G’95 Black and B’96 White who advance to the Club National XL Cup championship in Waukegan, IL.
The year concluded with the ECNL program travelling to Waukegan, IL for the ECNL National Championships. Below is a brief summary of the performance of all teams. Each team competed in the six team northwest regional conference within the thirty-six team National B Flight:
The ’93s took 21st nationally and 5th in conference.
The ’94s took 4th place nationally and 3rd in conference.
The ’95s took 9th place nationally and 2nd in conference.
The ’96s took 5th place nationally and 2nd in conference and finished the ECNL National Championship undefeated to earn the club’s first ECNL national title.
The ’97s ECNL did not complete nationally, however, finished the ECNL National tournament with a record of 2-0-1
